Colégio Mira Rio is a girls' school in Lisbon serving nursery through secondary on two campuses. Mira Rio 1 covers Infantil, 1º CEB and 5º ano; Mira Rio 2 covers 6º, 3º CEB and Secundário. In 2017 campuses were consolidated at Telheiras. The school follows the national curriculum up to secondary and offers the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme in secondary years. The Curricular Project structures each year beyond national goals. The Mira Science Project strengthens science teaching, promotes interdisciplinary dialogue, and encourages use of the Scientific Method and new technologies. Estudo Acompanhado provides individualized study support with ongoing monitoring. Reunião de Turma bases class meetings on the POFA program to develop themes of character and citizenship. In the early years, Preschool uses the Magic Dragon English learning approach; early primary features Keep Project with daily English and Singapore Math. In secondary, students study English B and Portuguese A: Literature, too.
