Admissions
1) Deadlines and eligibility. The regular application deadline is March 1 for admission to upper secondary school and to apprenticeship placements. The February 1 deadline applies to learners with priority rights or to admissions based on priority rights or individual assessment. These deadlines apply to all students in Østfold seeking county-run upper secondary education.

2) School choices and nearest-school policy. All students in Østfold may apply to all county upper secondary schools in Østfold. Normally you may apply to the school and the program you want, but you will be prioritized to the nearest school you are assigned. Therefore, list your nearest school on the application form. If you prefer other schools, you can set them as a higher priority on the application. You receive 100 extra points for applying to your nearest school.
