SEK International School Les Alpes is an English-language IB middle years programme (MYP) campus in the French Alps, serving students aged 12 to 16. The curriculum is harmonised with the IB MYP, delivered through six-week modules each year from MYP 1 to MYP 5. Over five years, students spend six weeks annually at SEK-Les Alpes with peers from SEK schools worldwide, promoting a global learning community. The campus features a limited-capacity boarding residence and integrated facilities set in an alpine environment at about 1,000 meters above sea level, near Megève and Albertville. All courses and activities are taught in English, with Learning Outside-In using mountains and woodlands as outdoor classrooms. The school is part of the SEK Education Group, with a long history and 10 campuses; it is the only private school in France recognized by the Spanish Ministry of Education. Ski lessons and insurance are included, with autonomous learning.

The programme is harmonised with the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme (MYP). Each year includes a six-week module, from Year 6 Primary (MYP 1) to Year 4 ESO (MYP 5). Across five years, students spend six weeks each year at SEK-Les Alpes with peers from SEK International Schools worldwide. All courses and activities are in English. Modules are built around transdisciplinary inquiry units to support holistic development.
SEK-Les Alpes offers a six-week module each year for Year 6 Primary to Year 4 ESO as part of the SEK programme. This module develops academic and personal competencies while strengthening students' connection with nature and the international SEK community. The programme supports autonomy, independence, self-esteem, resilience, and leadership. It fosters social and emotional relationships and a sense of belonging in natural settings. Progress is monitored through collaborative projects, self-assessments, and ongoing feedback.
Facilities are designed for well-being and personal development, including common spaces that promote well-being and a culture of respect where each student is accountable for their personal development and academic progress. The Learning Outside-In approach uses mountains and woodlands as learning laboratories, enabling exploration and growth. The programme supports autonomy, confidence, and a sense of belonging as part of the overall educational experience.
1. The programme is designed for students from Year 6 Primary to Year 4 Secondary, with a maximum of 35 places per edition. All courses and activities are conducted in English. This is your first step to explore the Alpine experience.
2. Confirm the module and dates for the intended year group. The six-week module runs each year, with five consecutive modules across a student's school journey, and the 2025–2026 dates are: Year 4 ESO (MYP5): September 15 – October 26; Year 1 ESO (MYP2): November 3 – December 14; Year 2 ESO (MYP3): January 8 – February 13; Year 3 ESO (MYP4): February 16 – March 26; Year 6 Primary (MYP1): April 13 – May 24. Each year group has a designated six-week slot (up to 35 places per edition) to ensure personalised guidance.
3. Reserve a place by paying the €1,000 reservation deposit (to be deducted from the final invoice). The six-week stay costs €6,887; the discounted price for the first cohort (2025/26) is €6,198. The price includes accommodation at the boarding residence with full board, laundry service, transfers from/to airport, health and accident insurance, sports and cultural activities, visits and outings, and ski lessons with the French Ski School (FFS) and ski pass. The price does not include return flights, personal spending money, pharmacy payments, or ski equipment rental.
4. During the six-week stay, the monthly payment to the home school will not be charged.
